Charging SuperCapacitors from a Mains Power Supply

Thoughts about charging the supercapacitors in my Bluetooth speaker from a mains power pack. A high charge current is fine until the first protection circuits kick in. Then a lower current is necessary to ensure the protection circuits can keep the capacitors from going over voltage.

I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor). However, this editor (which is brilliant and I love it) is being scrapped on September 20th :/
