Following the announcement of the 2023 economic sciences prize, Randi Hjalmarsson, member of the committee of the Sveriges Riksbanks prize in economic sciences in memory of Alfred Nobel, was interviewed by freelance journalist Sharon Jåma.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2023 to Claudia Goldin “for having advanced our understanding of women’s labour market outcomes.”
